This concept draws inspiration from Robert Altman’s avant-garde film Three Women, particularly its surreal narrative, soft color palette, and the fantastical mural work by artist Bodhi Wind. I reimaged these elements through an edgy capsule collection featuring curated wardrobe pieces.
The project centered on experimenting with various fabric treatments and techniques, including upcycling, cutting, hand-dyeing, painting, and distressing to reconstruct and transform materials. Instead of producing full garments, I created sewn mock-up for each look in the collection, highlighting a distinctive design feature. This approach enabled targeted testing of construction methods, exploration of textural outcomes, and refinement of individual design elements.
